Time just keeps flying by, took a little time with the family but for the most part it was work as usual. I didn’t fall too far behind but here is what has been going on.  Last Friday we rushed to get last minute soap orders out the door along with a couple knives to get them there before Christmas. Then my new Surface Grinder came in in the late evening while we are trying to get packed for the weekend marathon of going and visiting our family. We loaded up all 7 children and drove over 5 hours back home. Stopping in Kansas City to hand deliver a Stakeholder Knife. I was excited to meet Brad F. and we had a nice short visit. Then the next 48 hours was crazy we stopped in at my Mom’s and 4 other families. All while getting over a foot of snow!  But we made it back home safely to tons of ice and tree branches all over the place.

On Christmas Day I worked a pretty good day but took the time to have a little fun and also made a holder for the knives to make it easier while working on them.

Thursday Night while working early into Friday morning out of the blue I heard a kid screaming so I went out to see what was going on and in the barn our Momma Goat was giving birth to three little kids. So I woke up the wife and we got the kids some nice fresh straw and a heat lamp.

Guess I will still be pulling the 6 day work weeks until I get caught up, but I think I am making good progress and hopefully soon will be able to back off to a normal schedule.
