   This ‘Evergreen’ hat is hand knit by our daughter, Lilley. They are beautiful and so soft. This wool is grown and spun in Peru. This  100% merino wool has a soft cushiony feel that you will love.  These hats are made to fit most ladies. As well as fit most older children. (Our ten year old wears one)

   Merino wool fiber can wick up to 30% of its own weight in moisture remaining dry to the touch. Merino Wool has a porous (airy) structure which makes it such a good thermal insulator. It can cool you in the summer and warm you in the winter. It is very temperature regulating. Wool is amazing. It is stronger than synthetic fibers and some other natural fibers. It is durable and long lasting. 

  Wools, including Merino, is great at not holding smells. I love that I can hang out at the camp fire and the next day there is no smell in the hat at all. We personally only (hand) wash our hats once a year when we put them away unless they get soiled.  When washing be gentle and do not agitate. roll into a towel to get out most of the water. Lay flat to dry. Do not agitate while washing.
