Stakeholder Knife Work Continues!

Sorry, I have been so busy I haven’t posted anything on here in too long. I am almost ready to finish up the second batch of Stakeholder MT Knives which should get me to #035 a little over 1/3 the way done!!! It is my goal to be able to finish all 100 knives before the end of the year, and I have been working as many hours as I can. Long days and late nights hopefully I can speed up after I get my new knife grinder that should be arriving next week!

Although I am trying to complete orders as fast as I can, I will not short quality! I would like to thank everyone for being patient and understanding that I am a one man shop trying to put out a super high quality product.

Here are some photos of progress,

Winter is Coming!

With the temperatures falling quickly I had to figure out how to heat my workshop. I have always liked the idea of a rocket stove and after watching some YouTube videos I decided on a design that I modified a little.

Mammoth Tusk Restoration

Unfortunately the first Mammoth Tusk Knife I ever made was lost outside until a mower found it! I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to salvage the remains of what was once a beautiful knife.  But I was pretty pleased with the end result.

Empty Freezer

With not raising any pasture poultry this year our freezer was getting pretty low on meat! So I took a little time to do a little Bow hunting. I got to go out a couple of times and fortunately I took a button buck after only an hour in the stand!  My neck knife makes quick work of processing a deer.
