As you may know, I am currently in the process of building a new shop. So I haven’t had many new knives available for quite some time. I decided to pull a knife out of my personal collection to help cover the expense of building the new shop.

Some knives are born to be users. Others carry the weight of a legacy. This one does both.

I’ve always admired the lines of the Loveless Drop-Point Hunter. It’s a timeless pattern — simple, practical, and beautiful. When I set out to make this knife, I wanted to honor that tradition while putting my own hand into every detail.

The handle is dyed maple burl, stabilized and brought to life with figure that shifts in the light. The tang is hand-tapered, a detail that takes time and patience but makes the knife feel alive in the hand. Nickel silver bolsters and pins bring strength and a clean, classic finish.

This knife is not perfect — no true handmade knife ever is. Every hour spent, every pass of the file, every stroke on the grinder leaves its mark. Those marks are part of the story. They’re what separate a handcrafted knife from a factory blade.

I’m offering this knife in a silent auction. That means no public bidding wars, no last-minute sniping. If this knife speaks to you, place your best bid quietly and confidently. When the auction closes, the highest silent bid takes it home.

This is more than just a knife. It’s a piece of MT Knives journey, made by my own hands here in the Ozarks.

To place your bid just Email me [email protected]  subject line “Ranger Bid” with your bid, I will reply to let you know I received your bid. Auction will close at the end of the Month November 30th at Noon. I appreciate your support!
