Thanks for taking the time to share these videos. The slow motion and high speed shots are awesome! Wish you were closer so I could share some shop time with you. Keep up the excellent work and thanks again for taking the time to make some videos for us.
Dude,
Great videos… love the sharpening 101 slo-mos and examples of cutting… on your other video – were you throwing that hatchet underhanded?
Keep up the good work.
also, what about a miniature pocket knife shaped like some of your neck-knifes but with a pull off sheath? Maybe the sheath would have a T-handle to grab the sheath and pull it off like a cap for an ink pen and have a very amll knife to cut boxes open, trim finger nails, and other small projects?
cheers,
Jake
Yeah I think I was throwing underhand. I am not sure exactly what you mean about the knife a fixed blade? I hope to makes some folders in the near future. Happy New Years!
Lots of interesting machines in your workshop!
That is a tease of a cameo by your sweet folding knife.
Who is that grinding while you are working??? Do you have a new assistant?
Thanks for the update!
John
These videos where actually taken in Bill’s shop. I hope to acquire a surface grinder and metal mill like his soon 😀 That was Bill grinding in the background. I don’t know that I will hire any help any time soon. I would need to find someone willing to stick around for the training. The timing would have to be right, and finding the right person.
Oh and I have made a habit of buying knives from makers I have spent time with learning from to build my own collection. That was a knife I bought from Bill and I hope to make a folder similar here soon. I would add a pocket clip to it.
