2016 HOMESTEADING WORKSHOP: RAISING & BUTCHERING MEATS
I will be at Darby Simpson’s Homesteading Workshop June 9-11, we will be focusing on production and butchering of pastured poultry, pork and rabbits. I will be presenting a power point on sharpening as well as helping with butchering. Click Here to learn more! I will also be sharpening knives and there to help people hands on learning how to sharpen. I might even bring the throwing knives if people are interested in that as well. One Off Rangers
I always make more than 100 limited edition knives, some won’t make the cut (pun intended) due to things like troubles during heat treat or a slip while grinding. Well I have 10 Ranger blanks that are partially completed and hope to have finished up soon (well soon compared to the normal year long much anticipated wait) hopefully in June or July if not sooner. There isn’t anything wrong with them they were back up just in case. You get the point, and I also have some pretty groovy handle material I have been waiting patiently to use (it has been killing me to let this beautiful material sit on my shelf, these are blocks I hand picked, the cream of the crop!) I have had several request about Ranger knives so here is the deal. First come first serve, if you would like one of these additional Rangers with premium scales, put in your custom knife deposit to reserve yours today! They are going to be $625 I have included a picture of some of the available scales if you see one you like let me know. Private Reserve discount will not apply to these knives.

Awesome! All beautiful scales. I really like the 1st one on the lower left, the “blood vein” looking on at lower middle and the last 2 on the lower right. Would probably lean towards one of those last 2, need to see them on a big screen my phone display isn’t doing them justice. I’ll put my order in asap.
BTW, who got the knife last week? (Or are you picking the winner this week? )

HA! no, i trust you completely! Just wondering how much of the “wood” color would be left on both ends, wasn’t sure if the red would over power the rest of it. It looks like it will be a really nice contrast, the more i looked at it the more i loved it.
