December Update

Making progress everyday. So to stay on schedule I have to produce on average 6 knives a week. This has been taking me a full week working long hours 6 days a week. I started 9 last week.

MT Knives News 11/22/13

Time keeps flying by, Send out 36-40 last week and almost finished 41-45 this week. Would be done but I wasn’t felling good at the start of the week and it really set me back. I hope to finish up 46-51 or more next week but we will see with Turkey day fast approaching. I picked up a few pointers from another knife maker on mirror finishes. It is hard to get a good mirror finish but I am getting better at it everyday. Here’s looking at you! 😉

November Update Week 1

I finished up grinding and heat treating the rest of the First Limited Edition Knives, and started a prototype for the Second Limited Edition Knives. I posted a short video on updates for the knives and rocket stove along with the new grinder you can see it here.

MT Knife News

Well it was a busy week, a lot of catching up from what didn’t get done last week. But some times you have to take that extra time and make sure everything is just right.

I am now officially over 1/3 of the way through the First Limited Edition run. I met with another knife maker this week to pick up some supplies, and to check out the knife he is making for me 😉 I am going to start collecting a knife from every knife maker that have learned from. That was my wife’s idea and I thought it was a good one.

MT Knives News October Update

Stakeholder Knife Work Continues!

Sorry, I have been so busy I haven’t posted anything on here in too long. I am almost ready to finish up the second batch of Stakeholder MT Knives which should get me to #035 a little over 1/3 the way done!!! It is my goal to be able to finish all 100 knives before the end of the year, and I have been working as many hours as I can. Long days and late nights hopefully I can speed up after I get my new knife grinder that should be arriving next week!
