Stakeholder of the Month

Stakeholder of the Month

I thought it would be fun to feature a Stakeholder of the Month so you and I could hear from the people who help make it MT Knives Great! It is also encouraging for me  to hear from them in their own words why they decided to support MT Knives. So Here is the first one.

John wearing the famous Roehrman hat and knife

I’m John from North Dakota and I carry a custom knife made by Patrick all day, every day. My part time job is in the dental field and the rest of my time is spent as a homesteader, husband and father of 4 daughters […]

When Life Gives You Lemons

Lemons

Lemons are good but Lemonade is better! Sometimes when making knives you make mistakes, some can be fixed and others cannot. I have always said integrity is the most important quality of a knife maker, in fact I think integrity is the most important quality of any person.  Where am I going with this? Well with over 1,000 Genesis produced it was bound to happened, the last Genesis I got in didn’t pass my rigid standard of quality. The laser cutting left some deep marks that will not come out without having to remove too much steel! Fortunately the knives are not worthless, they just are not up to my standards. In […]

I had a wonderful time in CO, beautiful setting and awesome weather! I always enjoy meeting new friends. This was my first sharpening class put on by myself and it was a great learning experience for everyone involved. People say you learn more teaching than just doing, and I would have to agree.  I put together a short highlight video for you, please take a minute to watch it. If you would like to attend or host a class like this in your area be sure and contact me.

What you didn’t know about the Stakeholder Auction

What you didn’t know about the Stakeholder Auction

What you didn't know about the Stakeholder Auction

For those who don’t know about the Stakeholder Program, almost 3 years ago I launched the Stakeholder Program to transition from a part-time maker to full time! It was a huge success, I sold 100 positions in 6 mins after crashing my website and sending out links through email. There were a lot of people who didn’t get a chance to get in. Many have been waiting for this opportunity to arrive. So when it did earlier this month no one really knew how much it would bring. I had guessed […]

The morning of the Stakeholder Launch finally arrived and I was standing by with my family, and some friends were on their way over to watch the progress. The launch was set for 9Am But before 9 o’clock rolled around the site was down! […]
