2015 Ranger, Bob Loveless Drop Point Hunter
Fun fact: Bob Loveless referred his knife design as a “drop hunter” not a drop point hunter. It was the collectors and such that started making the term Drop Point Hunter which makes since meaning the tip of the knife is dropped down. If you haven’t seen Jack Spirko’s review of the Ranger you can find that Here: 2015 Ranger I get tons of request to purchase one of the Rangers, however like all the Limited Edition Runs they sell out FAST! However I will have some one off Rangers available once the Rangers are done, the best way to get any knives from me is to sign up for the mailing list. On that note there will be a Big Announcement coming soon so Sign Up Today!
I enjoy taking fun shots, and a mirror finish makes it all the more fun!
More scales are on the way, I hope to have some on the site with a knife here soon!
Never carry all your stones in one basket 😀 I put my sharpening stones up high on a shelf thinking they would be safe there… well lets just say they fell from 7-8 feet. At first I was a little frustrated, but they can be replaced. Bad things happen every now and then.
I completed the handles this week, I had really hoped to finish them all but another day or two and we will be good to go! I just have to finish the mirror finish (which can go fast or take for eeeevvvvvveeeerrr!!!) Etch my logo/ and sharpen them. These are the last of the Stakeholder Rangers that I had hope to have out by now, Next I will start on the additional Stakeholder knives that sold to the public. One more batch of knives and everyone will have their Ranger! I will do another batch like this one so if it takes the same about of time it should be around the end of February.
Over all it was a really productive week, I hope to have another BIG UPDATE some time next week that you won’t want to miss. See keep your eyes open and you will probably want to be one of the early ones to get it ;)! How was your week? Leave a comment, If you don’t want your comment to be public just say so and I won’t approve it so only I will see it. Have a great weekend!
Looking great!
Can\’t wait to see what\’s in store next!!!
Howdy Patrick,
It looks like things are moving along very well. It is easy for me to understand why the run is taking a bit more time than you originally planned. I will also state that the extra unplanned time is reflected in the finished product. I think the attention paid to details, and end result, justify the extra time and effort.
I sure do like the look of the tapered tang in the second photo on this page.
The mirror finish in photo number one is exquisite.
I am proud to be supporting you as a Stakeholder.
Sincerely,
Bill Sutter.
Nice work buddy. Love seeing all those knives.
Thanks for keeping us up to date. Very curious about your upcoming announcement 🙂

That’s right! Just a dab of this stuff and 3 seconds exposure of UV light and they’ll be as good as new.
Repairs everything from chipped ice cubes to broken relationships in a snap.
So get some now!

Another great update, Patrick! These photos are great and really reflect the artistic eye you have and the attention to detail that you have in your work. Great job!
Great work, Patrick. I like this format.
Sorry to have been a stranger Patrick. Life’s thrown me a few curve balls in the last few months. Keep up the excellent work.
