Celebrating 15 Years!

June is here and my Wife and I will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary!

ABS Bladesmithing Class

I joined the ABS in March of last year, and I am currently working on getting certified as a Journeyman Bladesmith, and hopefully a Master Bladesmith someday. This last week has been packed with tons of information. I put together a short three min video of some of the highlights of this week. Six Years Ago My Knife Making Journey Began

Six years ago I was leaving my family and boarding a plane to fly across the USA for the first time to learn all that one can in a one week Intensive Bladesmithing Class. I was to make 3 knives in my first week, a neck knife, kitchen knife, and then design and make my first custom knife. And now I am getting ready to do it again this time not across the USA, just a few hours from home. But this time it will be a two week class.

I will be at Darby Simpson’s Homesteading Workshop June 9-11, we will be focusing on production and butchering of pastured poultry, pork and rabbits.
